Health and Well-Being Month: Week Four – Day Five

A couple of days ago I posted about work and how we sometimes work too much to the detriment of our relationships and social life. We may not take enough time out to enjoy ourselves, so this post is about telling you to go out!

I would like you to arrange a night out with your friends and be unequivocally you. Peel off the mask and see what happens. You can go anywhere you like as long as you have fun!

Ask yourself:

  • Do you let your hair down enough?
  • How often do you make time for your friends and to enjoy yourself?
  • Do you feel guilty about having a social life so you deny yourself the pleasure?
  • What makes you happy?

Make room for it. Do something that makes you fully satisfied and happy. Stop making excuses and putting other people first. You deserve to have a good time and feel good too! Accept yourself and who you are in social situations no matter how awkward.
